The Sr. Director, Client Partner Team oversees a strategic team responsible for developing and enhancing existing and future business in data asset and analytics services to both legacy and new clients. The Sr. Director, Client Partner Team engages in both proactive and RFP-based business development opportunities, including the development of strategic partnerships that lead to new business.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the strategic framework for Mathematica’s overall client management processes in the Data Solutions division.
- Identify opportunities and sell services to key decision makers including C suite executives across IT and lines of business in enterprises for both new and existing client accounts
- Lead growth and expansion of practice in data assets and analytics
- Direct and manage a team of client partners to identify requirements and develop solutions for clients; create and deliver client presentations and proposals; and negotiate contracts.
- Lead client partner team by managing deal structure, deal profit and establishing KPIs for each client partner.
- Provide leadership and oversight to responses to RFPs and other solicitations, including the development of technical proposal language and budget specifications
- Evaluate and make recommendations to leadership to develop new technical solutions, partner with existing businesses to offer mature technical solutions for clients. or acquire businesses to enhance Mathematica’s technical solutions portfolio.
- Work collaboratively across technology and advisory services teams.
- Stay connected to technical project delivery by serving in a high-level oversight role
- Identify current and future staffing resources necessary to win future work and deliver on current work.
- Supervise and mentor client partners.
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required with at least 15+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience working in a delivery setting to design, develop, implement, configure, or integrate health systems
- Deep expertise in client management and business development establishing sales goals and strategies
- Experience with customer acquisition and retention working directly with economic buyers, leading responses to RFPs including capture planning activities, developing and managing a team of partners, and navigating the connection of sales and delivery teams pre- and post-sales
- Experience applying technology to provide solutions for decision makers regarding complex policy issues
- Significant experience positioning data assets and data analytics consulting services
- Experience working in a products or service delivery industry
- Proven track record of managing a cross-industry sales team and setting KPIs
- Working knowledge of digital processes, technologies, and tools such as Agile, Jira, Confluence, and Tableau
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products
- Experience building and leading teams
- Enthusiastic, highly team-oriented, able to work in a matrixed environment on a fast-moving, growing team
This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of $170,000 - $225,000. This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance. To apply, please submit a cover letter (optional), resume, code samples, and salary expectations.

Staff that are unable to successfully undergo the background investigation will need to be able to obtain work outside these contracts. Staff will work with their supervisor to get re-staffed, however if they are unable to do so it may result in employment termination due to lack of work.
