We are seeking part-time, temporary nutrition research supervisors for a nationwide school nutrition study that is assessing the nutritional quality and cost of school meals. Nutrition research supervisors will monitor the activities of nutrition research assistants who will be reviewing completed menu surveys to identify missing data and follow up with School Nutrition Managers to retrieve this data. Nutrition research supervisors will assess their productivity and accuracy, and work with project staff to resolve issues that arise during the process.
Positions start in early February 2025 and will likely last through August, with the possibility of continuing work on other study tasks for additional months. Positions require a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week, and scheduling is flexible between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. All work will be completed in-person in our Cambridge office, located between Harvard and Central Square in Cambridge.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with navigating online computer programs
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to evolving procedures
- Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience supervising staff preferred
- Prior experience with nutrient analysis software and/or nutrient databases
- Prior experience with nutrition studies preferred

This position is categorized as on-call, and as such, the hours may at times vary based on project needs. Your employment will be classified as on-call until the duration of the project(s) or need(s) is complete.
