Human Resources Intern

We currently have an opening for a dynamic and self-starting human resources intern in our Washington D.C. office. As an HR intern, the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Recruitment-related tasks (schedule candidate interviews, coordinate phone screens, disposition candidates in applicant tracking system, manage recruitment folders, assist recruiters with job postings, etc.)

  • Assist with exit interview process

  • Maintain electronic employee files

  • General HR-related tasks

  • Provide support on ad hoc projects

Position Requirements:

  • Undergraduate or graduate student from an accredited university, with an interest in Human Resources

  • Prior experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Exceptional organizational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Customer-service oriented

  • Able to work independently and adhere to deadlines

  • Office experience is a plus, but not a requirement

  • Must be able to work a minimum of 12 hours a week
